Patient Representative

Boulder Community Health (BCH) strives to provide excellent care and service to our patients and family members. We appreciate when our patients and their families contact us to share a compliment, ask a question, or file a complaint or grievance about the experience of being a patient at BCH. Our Patient Representatives are available if you would like to provide feedback regarding your experience of care at BCH.

Why would you need to call the Patient Representative Office?

Patients and their loved ones have the right to share feedback in the form of a compliment, suggestion, or complaint (a concern about the service, quality, or safety of care a patient received). The Patient Representative acts as an advocate for patients’ rights and needs. If you feel you or a loved one did not receive high quality service or care, we invite you to contact us, so we can assist you. The Patient Representative will listen carefully to your experience, provide information on the complaints and grievances process, share your feedback with relevant leaders, and use your feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.

What do Patient Representatives Do?

  • Advocate for patient rights and needs.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Serve as a liaison between patients, families, hospital leaders and medical staff
  • Listen to your feedback and share it with the appropriate leadership to help you reach resolution.
  • Represent the patient in working with the organization to continually improve patient experience
