Please stop into one of our lab locations at your convenience. Bring your insurance card and a form of Identification.

Preparing for lab tests

Ask your doctor if your tests require fasting. If so, you must go without food or drink for 10-12 hours. Drink plenty of water. Check with your physician about any medications that you may be taking.

Test results

Most routine testing is completed within 24-48 hours, but some testing takes a week or more. We will send results to the doctor who ordered your tests. Please allow an additional 1-2 business days for your provider to review the report.

Insurance

BCH accepts most major insurance plans. Your specimen(s) can be collected regardless of insurance company. If we are unable to test your specimen due to insurance contracting reasons, we can forward your specimen to a contracted testing site.

Doctors orders are not required

While the majority of people obtain a physician’s order for lab tests, you are also welcome to order tests yourself. Be aware that health insurance does not cover self-ordered tests. We offer affordable self-pay pricing at the time of service. For more information about paying your bill, click here.
