BCH Permanently Closes Boulder Medical Center Labs

Boulder Community Health permanently closed its laboratory facilities at Boulder Medical Center effective June 30. This includes sites at Boulder Medical Center in the Avista Adventist Hospital campus in Louisville and at Boulder Medical Center in Boulder. This is the result of Boulder Medical Center’s decision to contract with a different laboratory. BCH has enjoyed serving patients at these locations for 25 years.

BCH is happy to continue serving patients’ laboratory needs through other BCH facilities located only minutes away. Patients who use the Avista site can have lab tests provided at BCH Urgent Care in Superior (around the corner from the Sport Stable complex). In Boulder, patients can use the BCH lab just down the road at Foothills Hospital.

BCH offers multiple Lab locations so you can choose the site that is most convenient for you:

• Foothills Hospital: 4747 Arapahoe Avenue, Boulder
• BCH Urgent Care in Gunbarrel: 6685 Gunpark Drive, Suite 102
• BCH Urgent Care in Superior: 3 Superior Drive, Suite 100A (adjacent to the Sport Stable)
• Community Medical Center: 1000 W. South Boulder Road, Lafayette
• Erie Medical Center: 101 Erie Parkway, Erie
