What We Do

The BCH Ambassadors (BCHA) raise funds that support Boulder Community Health and enhance patient care. There are many ways that we do this. Please view the sections below on how we work to help BCH continue to create and care for the healthiest community in the nation.

BCHA Scholarships

Each year the BCH Ambassadors award scholarship monies to deserving recipients through their Human Healthcare Scholarship Program. In the past five years, over $223,000 has been awarded to 78 recipients. Funding is generated solely from the BCH Ambassadors Gift Shop at the Foothills campus. Applications and eligibility requirements are posted in January. Click here to view the 2023 BCHA Scholarship Program.

BCHA Mini Grants

The BCH Ambassadors Mini-Grant Program is intended to enhance or facilitate quality patient care.

Funds for the mini-grant program come from the proceeds of the Foothills Hospital Gift Shop, as well as from special fundraisers hosted by the Ambassadors throughout the year.

Mini-grants are awarded for non-capital services or equipment that benefit patient care and/or enhance the patient experience.

The Mini-Grant Application may be found here.

Applications should be submitted by the first of the month for review during the BCH Ambassadors monthly board meeting.

BCH Gift Shop

The BCH Ambassadors manage and operate an all-volunteer gift shop at the BCH Foothills campus. All proceeds contribute to the mission and goals of the BCH Ambassadors to enhance the services provided by the hospital and support quality patient care. These funds are used to support the BCH Ambassadors Scholarship & Mini-Grant Programs.

Fresh flower arrangements are also available. ALL major credit cards are accepted.

Hours of operation:

Mon - Fri: 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Sat - Sun: 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Phone: 720-415-7015

Gift Shop is staffed entirely by extraordinary volunteers. We are sorry for any inconvenience if we are unexpectedly closed during posted hours.

BCHA Special Fundraising Events

Boulder Busts a Move and Holiday Extravaganzas are the major fundraising events that support the BCH Ambassadors' Breast Cancer Treatment Fund. These events provide funding to cover the costs of diagnostic procedures and treatment for under- and uninsured BCH breast cancer patients.
