Comprehensive Inpatient, Outpatient and Primary Care Behavioral Health Services
As our community’s demand for mental health care increases, so does
Boulder Community Health’s (BCH) commitment to evolving and extending
crucial services. That's why we offer the broadest and deepest range of
behavioral health services in Boulder County. Our services are offered
on both an inpatient and outpatient basis to best meet each patient's
specific needs.
BCH's Behavioral Health Services include:
Behavioral Health Specialists in Primary Care: “Better Model of Care” for less severe conditions. These specialists
are available in each primary care clinic to provide therapeutic interventions,
new coping skills, treatment recommendations and referrals.
Outpatient Behavioral Health: Designed to address a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety,
trauma, depression and attention deficit disorder. We also offer online
classes, therapy and counseling.
Center for Interventional Psychiatry: Treatment options - including Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT), Transcranial
Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and ketamine infusions - for mental health
disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive
disorder, manic illnesses or schizophrenia.
Inpatient Behavioral Health: The thoughtfully designed healing environment on the third floor of the
Della Cava Medical Pavilion offers intervention, safety and stabilization
for adults in acute emotional crisis.
Inpatient Withdrawal Management: Admittance to this treatment program is voluntary, by visiting Foothill’s
Hospital’s Emergency Department - with a referral from a BCH provider
or another provider. Once admitted, each patient will receive assessment
and ongoing evaluation from a board-certified psychiatric practitioner
for withdrawal from alcohol, opioids or benzodiazepines.
Emergency Department (ED): Psychiatric evaluations are available 24/7 for community members who don’t
feel safe or are in crisis. Mental health holds – or involuntary
holds – are also provided if needed.
BCH is a “Behavioral Health Home” where members of our community
– with mental health issues ranging from simple to complex to chronic
– can find appropriate and meaningful care.
The Della Cava Family Medical Pavilion – the newest addition to our
Foothills Medical Campus — helps address the gap in our community's
mental health care. This state-of-the-art facility transforms local mental
health care through its innovative services and inspiring design. This
facility houses all of BCH's comprehensive mental health services in an
innovative, thoughtfully designed healing environment.
We recognize that it's important to offer a range of services to fully
reflect the mental health needs of our community. Our outpatient treatment
services are designed to address a wide range of mental health issues,
including anxiety, panic, depression, and attention deficit disorder.
We also offer therapy and counseling for individuals, families and in
a group setting. Our inpatient treatment program offers intervention,
support and stability for adults in acute emotional crisis.
