Dr. O’Hair earned his bachelor’s degree from Marquette University.
He received his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin, where
he also completed his residency and a research fellowship in general surgery.
He went on to complete an additional fellowship in transplantation as well
as a residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Columbia University College
of Physicians and Surgeons.
Dr. O’Hair was in practice for several years in Wisconsin, where
he led programs for surgical robotics and advanced cardiovascular surgery.
Prior to joining Boulder Community Health, he successfully created a transcatheter
aortic valve replacement (TAVR) program at Aurora Healthcare and was active
in clinical trials. He has been selected as a global proctor for TAVR,
meaning he teaches other cardiologists to perform this innovative procedure.
At Boulder Heart, Dr. O’Hair performs a range of cardiothoracic surgeries,
from open-heart surgery to minimally invasive device implantations.
