About
Ms. Berghoff joined Dakota Ridge Family Medicine in 2009. A Colorado native, she graduated from the University of Colorado with a bachelor’s degree in biology and psychology. She attended Midwestern University in Arizona and completed the physician assistant program.
Before joining Dakota Ridge, Ms. Berghoff was a physician assistant in pediatrics. She has a special interest in concussion prevention and asthma management.
As of Oct. 2022, she is now part of BCH's Anchor Point Primary Care clinic.
In her spare time, Ms. Berghoff enjoys snow and waterskiing with her husband and playing with her daughter.

I can not say enough good things about Melissa. She is so incredibly caring, genuinely compassionate, super knowledgable and trustworthy and the absolute best doctor I could imagine for my kids. She goes above and beyond to thoughtfully answer questions and concerns, spends a good amount of time with us, doesn't make us feel rushed or unimportant. She listens well and always offers helpful advice and treatment paths. She follows up with us when we're going through something challenging, and makes me feel like we are truly important to her. We feel SO lucky to have her, and recommend her to anyone!

Melissa made me feel like I had done something wrong explaining my symptoms at the appointment and told me because of it we might not have time to do my physical and I'll have to come back. I thought symptoms would be relevant at a physical exam. I felt judged and uncomfortable and I'll never be back.
