BCH Lecture: Colon Cancer - The Preventable Killer 3/15/22

  • Category: Gastroenterology

Excluding skin cancers, colorectal cancer — cancer that starts in the colon or the rectum — is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States. Fortunately, there are ways to reduce your risk and even prevent the cancer.

Our speaker is gastroenterologist Sim Bedi, DO, who will explain factors that may increase the risk of colorectal cancer, as well as lifestyle changes you can make to reduce your risk. Then he’ll describe screenings that can detect and even prevent the cancer.
