This was the beautiful view this morning from the annual BCH Foundation KidLinks Golf Tournament at Lake Valley Golf Club.

The annual golf tournament is a fundraiser that provides scholarships for children with special needs attending BCH Pediatric Rehabilitation camp programs.

Our pediatric rehabilitation team at BCH is passionate about providing quality summer camp experiences to the children with special needs whom we serve but it would not be financially possible to do that without the underwriting and scholarships from the KidLinks tournament.

The funds raised help to cover the cost of putting on six different summer camps and a winter ski camp as well as providing scholarships to campers who would otherwise not be able to attend camp. Camps provide typical day and overnight camp experiences for children with autism, neurological impairment, and speech, language, motor and coordination challenges.

Success at camps is measured by the increased skill development gained during camp, but most especially from the joy the kids display while participating in camp settings just as their peers do, and by observing friendships as they grow within the supportive camp setting.

Thank you for your help!
