Timothy J. Meyers, MD
About
Dr. Meyers was born and raised in the Maryland countryside. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Prior to starting medical school, he was a research scientist in the government defense sector. Dr. Meyers received his medical degree from the University of Colorado and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Stanford University Hospital. He joined the medical staff at BCH upon completing his residency in 2003.
Dr. Meyers is board certified in Emergency Medicine and is currently the President of Boulder Emergency Physicians, PC. He is President-Elect of the Medical Staff. In his time at BCH he has been involved in many administrative roles. He served as the Chair of the Surgical and Trauma Services Department from 2014-2016. He currently serves on the Medical Executive, Patient Safety and Sepsis committees. He enjoys being outside in the Colorado mountains with his wife and twin daughters, skiing, mountain biking and surfing in his free time.
