About
Maria Anderson, MD, FACC, joined Boulder Heart in July 2021. Prior to joining Boulder Community Health and Boulder Heart’s experienced physician team, Dr. Anderson was a cardiac electrophysiologist at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center in Minnesota, as well as the Director & Founder of the Cardiac Risk Reduction/Lifestyle Medicine Clinic in Minneapolis. In 2020, Dr. Anderson completed a Fellowship in Advanced Ablation & Device at University of Minnesota. Before that, she was a heart rhythm specialist in Grand Junction, Colorado from 2009-2019.
With over 20 years of experience treating patients with heart rhythm problems, Dr. Anderson is especially passionate about evidence-based lifestyle choices to maintain or improve overall health and specifically to improve the success of medication and procedural therapies for cardiac arrhythmias, healthy cooking for improving cardiovascular outcomes, ablation technologies and techniques, and cardiac devices.
Dr. Anderson is no stranger to Colorado, having first moved to the Denver area in 2005. When Dr. Anderson is not seeing patients or performing ablations in the EP Lab, you can find her cooking, teaching cooking, skiing and hiking.

Dr. Anderson is such a leap forward in concern and willing to help me understand and help address my problem. Drs. Blios and Lawand wasted my time. Just gave me meds and told me to come back In 6 months. I need some one like Anderson that offer a potential real solution.
