I felt like I was just being processed through a mill. It felt like Dr. McCarty was making the motions but had very little interest in me. One of the concerns I mentioned to the assistant never even came up during the visit. It felt like he was checking boxes, not actually engaging with me. I left wondering if some wires got crossed; I was expecting a "physical" and it felt like I was given a "wellness check". It felt like I was processed through as quickly as possible; as if getting to the next appointment or staying on a tight schedule was what really mattered, not me. Perhaps my expectations of what quality health care should be are unrealistic.
