Dr. Justin Richardson joined Boulder Valley Surgical Associates in 2020 after six years of practice in the Denver metro area. He received his medical degree from West Virginia School of Medicine in 2009. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Exempla St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver, CO where he was named Vascular Surgery Resident of the Year in 2010. He received his undergraduate degree in sports medicine from Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA.

Dr. Richardson provides care to patients in trauma, acute care and general surgery with emphasis on minimally invasive gastrointestinal surgery, hernia repair and endocrine surgery. He offers many procedures utilizing the latest da Vinci robotic surgical techniques to the benefit of his patients. His practice philosophy centers on individual patient needs, patient education and communication, safety and attention to detail.

Dr. Richardson is board certified in General Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an associate member of the Denver Medical Society and the Colorado Medical Society.

Dr. Richardson met and married his wife in Colorado. They have two children with whom they love sharing their passions such as their animals, skiing, golf, cycling, soccer and rock climbing.
