Hila Mitchell, MD
About
Hila Mitchell, MD, is a board-certified family physician and hospitalist. She earned her medical degree from Penn State University College of Medicine, Hershey, in PA. She then completed her residency at St. Anthony North Family Medicine Residency, in Westminster, CO.
Dr. Mitchell was the lead of the hospitalist program at St. Anthony North for four years, working with other hospitalists and other specialists on initiatives to improve quality patient care.
As a hospitalist, Dr. Mitchell’s expertise is in caring for complicated hospitalized patients. One of the aspects she enjoys most about her position is the unique opportunity she has to manage acute illness, while maintaining a whole-body, whole-person approach. She values communication with hospitalized patients and family members, and a focus on quality of life.
Dr. Mitchell worked as a volunteer physician in Iquitos Peru with Global Health Initiatives and in Haiti with Heart to Heart International. In her free time Dr. Mitchell enjoys hiking, yoga, traveling the world and time with her family.
