Details:

Pregnancy, birth, and bringing home a new baby can feel exciting, overwhelming, and full of questions. Our Understanding Birth class is designed to help you feel informed, prepared, and confident as you approach this life-changing experience.

This is a 2 day weekend class that runs from 9 am- 4:30 pm on Saturday and 1 pm - 5 pm on Sunday.

Together, we'll explore late pregnancy changes, signs that labor is beginning, the stages of labor and birth, comfort measures, labor positions, and common medical procedures and options you may encounter along the way. You'll learn practical techniques to help you work with your body, make informed decisions, and navigate labor with greater confidence.

We also go beyond the birth itself, covering the immediate postpartum period, newborn care, feeding basics, maternal recovery, emotional adjustment, and perinatal mental health. Whether this is your first baby or you've done this before, you'll leave with knowledge, tools, and realistic expectations for the weeks ahead.

Our goal is simple: to help you feel calm, informed, and confident as you welcome your baby and begin your family's next chapter.
