Center for Mind Body Medicine
Empowering Mind Body Treatment
The Center for Mind Body Medicine treats patients suffering from debilitating
health problems – chronic back, neck or pelvic pain, migraines and
other hard-to-treat medical conditions – that haven’t responded
to traditional medical therapies.
Drawing on neuroscience research, we’ll empower you with tools to
eliminate or significantly reduce the severity of your symptoms. Our treatment
involves teaching you how to change your brain’s response to long-stored
memories in neural pathways.
To schedule an appointment, call 303-415-4015.
The Center uses a holistic approach to treat the mind and body as one unit,
recognizing that pain and other debilitating symptoms are not always caused
by physical tissue damage. A board-certified internist coordinates care
from multiple disciplines, creating a personalized treatment plan tailored
to your individual needs.
- Treatment plans include:
- Medical evaluation and diagnostic testing
- Education on new theories about how the brain and body interact
- Mindfulness-based stress reduction
- Pain-reprocessing therapy to reduce fear
- Massage, acupuncture and Reiki
- Psychotherapy and/or writing exercises
- Physical therapy
