Facilitators

Stephen Sbanotto MS, LPC, CSAT-S, CMAT, RAE, RACS is a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist and Supervisor (CSAT-S) and Certified Multiple Addiction Therapist (CMAT) and has been working in the field of compulsive sexual behaviors for over a decade. He’s worked in various levels of care from PHP to IOP, to OP and private practice. He received his master’s in counseling with a dual emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2009 and is trained additionally in EMDR for trauma work. He is currently the Clinical Director for Acqua Recovery Colorado, an adults substance-primary, dual-diagnosis program, and is also a regular group therapist for the Meadows Denver PHP/IOP programs. Stephen provides high-level and ongoing CSAT/CMAT Clinical Consulting for treatment centers and individual clinicians alike in best practices for screening, assessments, case conceptualizing, and treating compulsive sexual behaviors, especially as they are often co-occurring and interacting with other addictions and mental health issues. This event is brought to you in partnership by Boulder Community Health’s PILLAR Program & EDCare. This livestreamed event will be interactive and allow time for questions and discussion from the audience throughout the presentation.
