BCH honored as "Great Community Hospital"
As the only independent health care system in Colorado, BCH was recognized as a "Great Community Hospital" by Becker’s Hospital Review.
Becker’s says:
"Community hospitals are vital pieces of the overall health care system, expanding care access to patients who might otherwise face other barriers to care."
These community hospitals are lauded for their clinical excellence, compassionate care and economic impact on their communities. The Becker's editorial team selected hospitals for inclusion based on several outside rankings and ratings organizations, including U.S. News & World Report, Healthgrades, CMS, The Leapfrog Group and The Chartis Center for Rural Health."
As the only nonprofit, independent community health care system in Colorado, BCH maintains our independence through a community-first approach to care. BCH meets local care needs and establishes creative partnerships to provide deliver high-quality, convenient and affordable health care to patients across Boulder County and surrounding communities.
For example, utilizing real estate in their new Broomfield facility in a joint venture with UCHealth, BCH was able to bring forward staff, expertise and support to create in-patient rehabilitation facilities twice the size of the original accommodations.
In another partnership, BCH is working with Optum to further advance its clinical and operational performance. As an information and technology health services company, Optum manages key operational areas across data and analytics, revenue cycle management and care coordination.
