Meet Audra Trask, our incredible new Parenting Educator & Child Development Expert at the Family Birth Center at Boulder Community Foothills Hospital.

We are so lucky to have Audra teaching parents in our community invaluable skills for toddlers and young children. “I love to help families calm the chaos and enjoy their time together,” she says, describing her passion for making this often-tricky phase of parenting easier.

Becca, a recent attendee of Sibling Class for the 2- to 6-year old, said this: “Audra did a fantastic job helping to prepare our son for his baby brother's arrival! Her class was time definitely well spent! She makes the material incredibly accessible for the young mind with lots of takeaway concepts that are developmentally appropriate and very helpful.”

A Michigan native with degrees in Child Development and Early Childhood Education, Audra became a certified Child Life Specialist while training at Detroit Children's Hospital. After relocating to Seattle, she worked as a certified Child Life Specialist at Swedish Hospital and was also a Birth Instructor and Parenting Educator at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, WA.

Now living in Boulder with her husband and three wonderful children, Audra continues to work as a private parenting consultant along with teaching classes like Potty Training Your Toddler at Foothills Hospital.
