Tina HuberCongratulations to Tina Marie Huber, Lab Manager at Boulder Community Health on your 25+ AMAZING years of service. You will be missed!

Tina began her career at BCH in 1991 as a cytotechnologist before becoming a laboratory manager.

She participated in numerous committees within the hospital leading to excellence in care for our patients. Tina spear headed multiple LEAN transitions in the lab which enabled the lab to adjust to our growing business. Her participation in the Carent Laboratory Network (Formerly Frontline Lab Network) contributed to the success of the laboratory’s robust outreach program which accounts for greater than 60 percent of our overall lab volume.

Her people-oriented nature and strong ability to think outside of the box has challenged the lab to adapt to the changing healthcare environment.

It is clear why Tina would be selected as administrative advisor for BCH’s AIHA Twining Partnership to strengthen laboratory capacity in support of PEPFAR in the United Republic of Tanzania.

The group worked with the 23 regional hospitals who had a baseline star rating of 0-1. At the end of their project one hospital in Temeke received a 3-star rating by an external lab evaluation from Ethiopia.

Congratulations, Tina, on your retirement and thank you for your service to BCH!
