BCH Caregivers Stand Against Violence for #HAVhope Campaign

Leaders, caregivers and staff at Boulder Community Health stand with the American Hospital Association in supporting a national day of awareness against all forms of violence in our community on June 9, 2017.

The #HAVhope digital campaign seeks to expand awareness of violence as a major public health and safety issue for nearly everyone in our country.

More than 2.3 million people are treated in U.S. emergency departments each year for violence-related injuries and violence costs more than $85 billion annually in medical expenses and lost productivity, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Our community must work together to combat all forms of violence. As caregivers we recognize the toll that violence takes on our community and on our health system. #HAVhope
