by BCH's Michele Sternitzky, Director of Nursing, Medical-Surgical

During Wound, Ostomy and Continence (WOC) Nurse Week, April 16-22, 2017, BCH and the WOCN® Society recognizes wound care nurses for the services they provide to millions of patients who suffer from non-healing wounds, ostomies, and urinary and fecal incontinence.

The goal of Wound Care Nurse Week is to celebrate the work wound care nurses do for their patients, their workplaces and their communities every day.

To our very dedicated wound care team at the Wound Healing Center and Inpatient settings, thank you for your dedication as patient advocates, champions, supporters, allies and resources.
