Tara Adams, PA-C

About

Tara Adams, PA-C, holds a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Temple University, located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She received her physician assistant certification (PA-C) in 2021, upon graduating from Thomas Jefferson University, also in Philadelphia, where she received her Master of Science in physician assistant studies. Prior to this, she worked for six years at McGee Rehabilitation in Philadelphia, a specialty hospital catering to patients with spinal cord and traumatic brain injuries.

Since joining Boulder Neurosurgical and Spine Associates of BCH, Adams has been responsible for performing physical exams, interpreting lab and imaging information, developing patient treatment plans and providing patient education. Additionally, she assists in the neurosurgery operating room, performs hospital rounds, and is responsible for suturing, stapling and changing surgical dressings.

When she is not working, you can find Tara snowboarding, hiking, playing volleyball and soccer, visiting local breweries and spending time with her friends, family and two adorable labradoodles.
