Sylvia Balabusta, PA-C

About

Sylvia is a nationally board-certified Physician Assistant. She received her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies through Hofstra University. Prior to this, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from Jefferson University with a Bachelors in Pre-Medical Studies. Upon moving to Denver in 2018, she devoted her time to practicing Neurology, where she treated a variety of Neurological issues including migraines, dementia, strokes and seizures.

She has devoted her time to sleep medicine and joined the Colorado Sleep Institute in early 2021. She takes a particular interest in the physical and cognitive effects of sleep deprivation and providing patients with the education necessary to get back to more restful and restorative sleep.

PA Balabusta is an active member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.

Outside of the practice, Sylvia enjoys cooking with her husband, hiking, camping, going to concerts and hosting your classic board game night.
