About

Dr. Mousavi joined Dakota Ridge Family Medicine in 2014 (now Anchor Point Primary Care). Prior to that, she served on the medical staff at the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless in Denver.

Dr. Mousavi was born and raised near the Caspian Sea in northern Iran. She received her medical degree from Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, one of Iran’s oldest medical schools. She practiced in her home country for several years as a primary care physician, hospitalist, urgent care physician and public health officer.

Board certified in family medicine, Dr. Mousavi completed her family medicine residency at the University of Wyoming in Cheyenne. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Colorado Medical Society and the Boulder County Medical Society.

With her diverse training and experience in preventive medicine, Dr. Mousavi aims to help her patients live healthy lives at every age.

Fluent in English, Farsi and conversational Spanish, Dr. Mousavi enjoys the outdoors, traveling and yoga.
