About

Reed Fischer, PA-C is a certified physician assistant (PA-C) at Boulder Creek Family Medicine where he evaluates, diagnoses and treats patients.

Reed received his Bachelor of Arts in molecular, cellular and developmental biology from the University of Colorado, Boulder and his Master of Medical Science (MMS) through the Red Rocks Physician Assistant Program, Lakewood, Colorado.

Prior to joining Boulder Creek Family Medicine Reed completed rotations with preceptors at Sterling Correctional Facility—Primary and Urgent Care, Boulder Creek Family Medicine, Concentra Urgent Care, Cornerstone Pediatrics—Primary Care Clinic, HealthONE Pediatric Care Clinic, San Luis Valley Health—Primary Care Clinic, Colorado Mental Health Institute—Inpatient Psychiatry, Center of Surgical Specialists—General Surgery, Pikes Peak Regional Hospital—Emergency Department and Life Care Center of Aurora—Longterm Care. Additionally, Reed was an EMT at Children’s Hospital Colorado and a PT aide at University of Colorado’s Wardenburg Sport Medicine.

As a PA Reed provides laceration and repair suturing, interpretation of EKGs, diagnostic image interpretation, incision and drainage of abscesses and cyst removal, cerumen disimpaction, excisional biopsies, arthrocentesis and joint injections, splinting, foreign body removal from eyes, nose and ears, IV start and venipuncture, cryotherapy and toenail removal.
