Was not impressed. I was here for an annual preventative physical with a new PCP, and the doctor skimmed through and/or skipped steps my previous (now retired) BCH PCP would do in these visits. It felt like the cliche assembly line spirit of "my quota allows me 9 minutes total for this visit, so we need to move quickly and superficially." I was also masking, which was unusual at the time (I was only one in office masked), yet the Doctor made no inquiry about if I was sick, etc. When Dr checked my mouth, which had unusual tongue color/residue due to being sick, her only response was "um, do you go to the Dentist?" instead of recognizing it was a symptom of an upper respiratory illness and inquiring further. It felt like a "ew your mouth is gross" reaction instead of a clinical differential.

Dr. Choi shows great concern for the well being of her patients.

I had hoped the first encounter with my new primary care physician would be "very good" - however, she seemed very much in a hurry, as though she couldn't afford the time to get to know much about me at this first meeting. She spoke very rapidly and quietly, so I had difficulty understanding her as we covered various aspects of my health. (I'm 73. I have some mild tinnitus and hearing loss. She didn't seem to take my age into consideration as she asked questions/gave instructions and recommendations.) At the end of our session, she departed the exam room hastily, with barely a nod goodbye, as though hurrying to something/someone more important.I appreciate Dr. Choi's medical knowledge and experience - I would equally appreciate her attention to improving her "bedside manner."
