Farrah Anwar, MD

About

Dr. Farrah Anwar is board-certified in internal medicine and endocrinology and sees patients at Endocrinology Associates at Northwest Family Medicine in Superior, Colorado.

Dr. Anwar received her medical degree from Nishtar Medical University in Pakistan. She completed her residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center in Queens, NY, and received her endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism fellowship from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to this, she worked as a primary care physician in Pakistan.

Dr. Anwar’s primary areas of expertise encompass the comprehensive management of patients experiencing diabetes, thyroid diseases, osteoporosis, and pituitary and adrenal gland issues.

When not working, Dr. Anwar finds solace in painting, enrichment through travel and complete joy when experiencing new foods.

Dr. Anwar understands that each patient is unique. Taking the time to understand their challenges, she listens to patient concerns and supports and partners with each on their individual health care journey. She approaches her patient care with both empathy and a sympathetic perspective.
