About

Dr. Elizabeth Lycett is a board-certified internist and geriatrician – a physician who specializes in the care of older adults. She joined Boulder Community Health in 2015 at Frontier Internal Medicine in Longmont, quickly carving out a patient panel of aging adults.

Dr. Lycett earned her medical degree in her home state at the University of Vermont. She went on to do her internal medicine residency, chief residency, and geriatric fellowship at the University of Rochester in upstate New York.

Given a high need for increased geriatric care in Boulder County, Dr. Lycett has advocated for expanded resources for seniors at BCH. She became Medical Director of Geriatric Medicine of BCH and started the department in early 2024.

In her new role, Dr. Lycett embraces a multidisciplinary approach to the care of complicated elderly patients – those with multiple chronic conditions – and their families, addressing values and quality of life as defined by her patients. Her long-term relationships with patients are the reason she loves going to work!

She moved to Colorado with her husband to enjoy the exceptional sunshine and mountains by camping, skiing, hiking and mountain biking. She has a daughter to inspire and challenge her, and bees!

Dr Lycett is very attentive and a great listener. She spends more time with me so I feel it's worth any extra wait time. As I know she does that for each of her patients. I just plan the extra time on each visit.
