Carrie Fearn has worked for BCH since 2015, and she joined Associated Neurologists in 2021. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where she graduated Cum Laude, Carrie went on to earn her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), the highest level of nursing education, from the University of Minnesota. She is highly regarded for her nursing expertise and leadership abilities and is a passionate clinician, driven to impact patient outcomes.
Within her current practice, Carrie is especially dedicated to seeing patients who are experiencing headache disorders and memory loss and working with them to determine the underlying causes of their condition(s), the best treatment(s), and the right steps to wellbeing. Carrie - a member of the American Academy of Neurology - recognizes the profound effect that neurologic diagnoses can have on a patient's quality of life.
Prior to receiving her DNP, Carrie worked as an emergency nurse at a Level III Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. As a nurse practitioner, she worked in family medicine and urgent care settings before joining Associated Neurologists. Her background in emergent care has been utilized in treating patients with a variety of neurologic conditions.
She is board-certified with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
When not working, Carrie enjoys gardening, taking care of her backyard chickens and spending time with her husband and two young children.
