This four-week series of 2 hour virtual zoom classes gives parents an in depth look at the valuable tools and evidence-based information to prepare for your birth. This month-long series is a great way to connect with other parents.

All classes are on Tuesday except the following:

November 30th Alternating Monday -Thursday -Monday -Thursday

February 2nd, 4th, 9th and 11th are Tuesday-Thursday for 2 weeks.

Our instructor, a specially-trained registered nurse and doula, will cover the normal physical and emotional experiences of late-stage pregnancy, labor and birth including:

Natural options for coping with labor discomfort, including anesthesia and epidurals

  • Possible medical interventions, including cesarean birth
  • Tips for caring for yourself and your newborn at home or the "fourth trimester"
  • Labor coping techniques
