The annual KidLinks Golf Tournament which provides scholarships for children
with special needs attending the Pediatric Rehabilitation camp programs
will be held at Lake Valley Golf Club on May 17th, 2017.
Please download the Registration Form and consider putting together a
team, playing or passing along the information if you or someone you know
is able to lend support either by playing or sponsorship.
Our pediatric rehabilitation team at BCH is passionate about providing quality summer camp experiences to the children with special needs whom we serve but it would not be financially possible to do that without the underwriting and scholarships from the KidLinks tournament. The funds raised help to cover the cost of putting on 6 different summer camps and a winter ski camp as well as providing scholarships to campers who would otherwise not be able to attend camp. Camps provide typical day and overnight camp experiences for children with autism, neurological impairment, and speech, language, motor and coordination challenges.
Success at camps is measured by the increased skill development gained during camp, but most especially from the joy the kids display while participating in camp settings just as their peers do, and by observing friendships as they grow within the supportive camp setting.
