Capable, Confident & Coping; Labor Techniques that Work

  • Categories: Maternity, Parenting/Birthing Class, Women's Health

About This Event

  • Event Type:Parenting/Birthing Classes
  • Max Capacity:5

Would you consider running a marathon without preparation? After you have taken your childbirth class (or previously given birth), this labor techniques class will help you and your support person to learn and practice natural, physiology-based labor techniques to help navigate challenges from early labor through pushing.

You will gain confidence in:

  • Addressing specific situations such as back labor and slowed progress
  • Managing contractions (and intervals between) with your partner
  • Developing teamwork and techniques that fit your individual needs and preferences
  • Please bring two pillows to the class..

This is an In-Person Class.  All adults will need to be masked, regardless of vaccination status, and non-household groups need to be spaced at least 6 feet apart. Symptom screening and temperature checks will occur and we encourage anyone coming for an in-person class to get vaccinated. Appointments are available on Tuesday's at the vaccine clinic on the 2nd floor of Della Cava Medical Pavilion (across from BCH Foothills Hospital).

Cancellations: If you cancel your registration prior to 5 business days before class begins, your registration fee will be refunded or transferred to another class. No refunds or transfers will be given after this time.

Need to reschedule or have questions? Send an email or call 303-415-7244.

There are rare instances we may have to cancel a class due to low enrollment or an emergency. A full refund will be given or you will be transferred into the next class. Every effort will be made to make up the class.

In the event of bad weather, such as a snowstorm, an email will be sent our notifying you regarding the cancellation.

  • Price: $50.00
  • Registration Instructions: Cost is per couple.
