Did you know that stroke kills twice as many women as breast cancer each year? In fact, stroke is the third leading cause of death in women. Yet few women recognize the subtler, gender-specific warning signs.

Strokes often lead to serious, life-changing complications or death. To help protect yourself, come hear BCH’s stroke program coordinator, Becky Hildebrand, RN, BSN, describe the signs of stroke in women, as well as their unique risk factors. Then learn about the newest treatment options.
