What is an “ask-able” adult? How can adults—whether they parent young people or work with them —encourage communication that fosters a feeling of safety? What does effective communication look like and how can it help youth avoid falling into a substance use disorder?
YMCA’s Kate Corre, Director of Training and Recruitment of Northern Colorado will share her knowledge and expertise on what it means to be an influencer for today’s young people and how to help youth deal with stressful and traumatic situations in a healthy way. With nearly 20 years of experience, Kate has a passion for youth and teen development and trauma-informed care.
