Upcoming workshops:
- 2/24/25 – Nutrition Masterclass: Lower Your Cholesterol with Diet: Many experts agree that the lower the LDL, the better. Let food be one of your best medicines. Recent guidelines state that diet may lower LDL by up to 30%! Michelle will guide you through a roadmap to help you lower your cholesterol with diet. Recipes included.
- 3/31/25 – How to Add More Plant-Based Foods to Your Diet: Virtually all experts agree that getting more plants into your diet is good for your health. What they don’t necessarily explain is how. An accomplished cook (as well as clinical dietitian), Michelle invites you to a creative brainstorming session on delicious ways to add more plants into your everyday diet. Recipes included.
- 4/4/25 Nutrition Masterclass: How to Lower A1C with Diet: Are you concerned that your blood sugars are creeping up despite eating well and being active? Surprised by a diabetes diagnosis? Help is at hand — changing your diet can lower your A1C. Learn what you can do to reverse the upward trend or possibly put the disease into remission. Michelle offers evidence-based strategies for success. Recipes included.
- 5/19/25 Protein Pro-Tips: Protein matters as we age and try to stay as fit and functional as possible. Whether you’re looking to restore muscle after illness or injury, slow the age-related loss of muscle, or simply increase your strength, understanding protein in your diet is key. Michelle provides specific daily and mealtime targets for protein and takes the mystery out of how and where to get it. Recipes included.
- 6/30/25 How to Prevent Cognitive Decline with Diet: Discover a dietary pattern that not only promotes heart health, but also prevents cognitive decline and the onset of Alzheimer’s disease: the MIND diet. Michelle breaks it down, including all the foods you should choose and those you should limit. The rewards can be remarkable — a 53% reduction in the risk of Alzheimer’s disease, lower blood pressure, improved cholesterol, and a reduced risk of heart attack and stroke. This workshop will truly win your heart and mind. Recipes included.
