YOU ARE NOT ALONE! The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) offers Family Support Groups for family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness. NAMI’s free and confidential support groups are peer-led by family members of people with mental health conditions. Participants benefit from other’s experiences, discover their inner strength, develop supportive relationships and share experiences in a non-judgmental space.

NAMI Family Support Group will help you:

  • Aim for better coping skills
  • Find strength in sharing experiences
  • Forgive yourself and reject guilt
  • Embrace humor as healthy
  • Accept that you cannot solve every problem
  • Understand that mental health conditions are no one’s fault and can be traumatic experiences
