Details:

Bare Basic of Childbirth is a live virtual one-day intensive class that gives first-time parents (or parents who want a refresher) valuable tools and evidence-based information to prepare for your birth. Our instructor, Sutay Berman, a specially trained registered nurse and doula, will cover the normal physical and emotional experiences of late-stage pregnancy, labor, and birth including: possible medical interventions, cesarean birth, anesthesia and epidurals, natural options for coping with labor, and tips for caring for yourself and your newborn at home.

This is a long class, there will be an hour break for lunch. The cafeteria is closed to the public but you are welcome to bring a lunch and eat on the patio or there are many restaurants nearby.

Fee: $100 per couple

As of January 9th all classes at BCH will be virtual due to the rising cases of Covid in our community. We want to do everything we can to keep our families safe. Should we move back to in-person you will be notified by email.

Cancellations: If you cancel your registration prior to 5 business days before class begins, your registration fee will be refunded or transferred to another class. No refunds or transfers will be given after this time.

Need to reschedule or have questions? Send an email parentresources@bch.org or call 303-415-7244.

There are rare instances we may have to cancel a class due to low enrollment or an emergency. A full refund will be given or you will be transferred into the next class. Every effort will be made to make up the class.

In the event of bad weather, such as a snowstorm, an email will be sent our notifying you regarding the cancellation.
