Roger Nichols, M.D., Practitioner Health and Wellbeing Committee Chair

Dr. Nichols received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa in 1985. He graduated from University of Iowa College of Medicine in 1980. He then performed his internship at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from 1989-1994. He was chief resident in 1994 at University of Nebraska Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in MRI at Johns Hopkins Hospital in 1995.

In 1997, after two years in private practice in Little Rock, Arkansas, Dr. Nichols joined as an associate with Boulder Radiologists, Inc.

Dr. Nichols is board certified in diagnostic radiology and is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, the Colorado Radiological Society, the American Roentgen Society, and the Boulder Medical Society. He has served on many hospital committees, and is currently chairman of the Credentials Committee at Boulder Community Hospital.

Dr. Nichols’ areas of expertise include imagery of the injured athlete, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease, and oncology care. He enjoys providing state-of-the-art care to his patients in a safe and comfortable environment.
