COVID-19 Update as of 3/23/20:
Effective March 25 at 9 p.m., the emergency department at Community Medical
Center in Lafayette will temporarily close. We are centralizing our emergency
medicine resources at our busiest location,
Foothills Hospital, which is seeing and would continue to see the majority of people experiencing
respiratory illnesses, both flu and COVID-19. The Emergency Department
will be closed for up to 90 days, with ongoing reassessment of the situation.
Please see our
CMC ED blog to learn more.

- High blood pressure problems
- Orthopedic injuries
- Difficulty breathing
- Heavy or uncontrolled bleeding

The new Emergency Department includes advanced imaging capabilities and
