BCH's Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program assists patients in learning how to better understand and manage thoughts, feelings and actions - especially when these patterns are strong and hard to change. DBT teaches you to accept yourself as you are while also making important changes to improve your life.
The DBT IOP meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon for a nine-week cycle. New sessions generally begin every three weeks.

Pathways Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
This program offers mindfulness-based nature therapy to individuals with
a broad range of mental health issues. To aid in treatment, patients will
embark on a journey to address mental health issues through positive experiences
in nature, hands-on activities and group sessions.
Pathways IOP is an eight-week program that meets four hours per day, three days a week. PHP is a more intensive program that meets five days per week for the first two weeks, before transitioning to the IOP schedule for the remaining six weeks. If a higher level of care is needed, patients may receive a recommendation to start with PHP. The clinical team works closely with all patients to determine the most appropriate level of care based on individual needs.

BCH PILLAR Program
The BCH Prevention & Intervention for Life-Long Alternatives and Recovery (PILLAR) Program provides free assistance to residents with health care matters relating to substance use disorders and associated mental health concerns. The program provides short-term case management services and referrals to community agencies for those seeking treatment in an outpatient setting or through higher levels of care.
This program has many goals. One of which is to provide education to the community around the use/abuse of substances, harm reduction and navigating the continuum of care. This team serves as a resource hub for substance abuse, mental health and medical support while also functioning as the bridge between provider, patient and referring agency.
