Here are a few words from some of our daily prize winners
Gayle W. says, “How exciting!!! Thanks so much!! And thanks for offering this challenge. It really helped motivate me to keep moving, even when I was out of town in Sept. I so appreciate all your efforts, extensive organization, and great work to assist folks with being healthy!” Gayle won a City of Louisville Recreation & Senior Center five-day pass + BOCO Hat.
Monica N. writes, “This is amazing! Thank you and looking forward to receiving my prize.” Monica won a blood pressure cuff, jump rope, exercise bands and a $25 Downtown Boulder gift card.
Helen D. says, “This is very exciting!! Thank you - I look forward to receiving the pass and trying it out. I think this challenge is great - I try to participate every year and even though my job has me walking and moving 40 hours a week, I try to use my free time to do something ‘different’ - like biking to work, riding/hiking near and far, working in the garden etc. Thank you for the reminder to keep moving!” Helen won a Relish Pickleball two-hour pass for up to four people + BOCO Hat.
Marsha L. states, “I received the package today. Thank you! What a fun event.” Marsha won a Town of Superior Parks, Recreation & Open Space - Polar Heart Rate Monitor + BOCO Hat.
Dave T. writes, “On Feb. 14, 2025 I developed pulmonary embolisms in both my lungs that could have killed me. I was recovering from a recent back surgery that didn’t allow me to “move” the way I used to. My doctor told me I needed to keep moving to avoid future blood clots. So now I walk four to five miles a day, play pickle ball, paddle board and ski (soon). So, for everyone out there, just keep moving! It’s the best thing for you.” Dave won a Lafayette Recreation five-day pass at Bob L. Burger Recreation Center + BOCO Hat.
Thank you for an incredible month. We look forward to seeing you next year.
