Neural Reprocessing for Anxiety (In Person) - Four Week Series

  • Categories: Class, Mind Body Medicine

About This Event

  • Event Type:Classes
  • Max Capacity:55
Details:

At the BCH Center for Mind Body Medicine, we treat anxiety through education: education of the mind, education of the body. In this four-week introductory program, you will learn new concepts in neuroscience along with mind body practices that can help address your body’s natural alarm system: anxiety. This class is your introduction to our approach, which can be followed by an individual appointment with our medical director if needed.

Using short lectures, videos, meditation and experiential exercises, we will give you the tools and confidence to feel in charge of your own nervous system. This is not group therapy, but a group format does allow class members to encourage and learn from each other as we practice exercises or discuss the topic.

Upcoming series include:

  • January 10, 17, 24 and 31
  • March 6, 13, 20 and 27
  • May 1, 8, 15 and 22
  • August 7, 14, 21, and 28
  • October 2, 9, 16, and 23
