About
Lisa Balduf, MD, FACS is a board-certified general surgeon with specialized expertise in gastrointestinal and minimally-invasive surgery. After earning a Doctor of Medicine degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo Health Sciences Center in 1999, she completed a general surgery internship and residency at the University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center in Albuquerque. She went on to pursue advanced surgical training, completing a fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Gastrointestinal Surgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Balduf has focused her surgical practice on minimally-invasive techniques and the treatment of complex gastrointestinal conditions, offering patients the benefits of advanced procedures that support faster recovery and improved outcomes.
Known for a compassionate and communicative approach to care, Dr. Balduf prioritizes taking the time to listen to her patients carefully and explaining diagnoses and treatment options clearly so that they can actively participate in decision-making related to their care.
Outside of work, Dr. Balduf enjoys reading, studying foreign languages, gardening and spending time outdoors with family.
