Charles D. Manter, DO

Dr. Charlie Manter is a board-certified family medicine physician at Family Medical Associates pf Lafayette. With more than three decades of experience, he brings a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care that balances clinical data with individual needs to support whole-person wellness.

Dr. Manter earned his medical degree from the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1990 and completed his family medicine residency in 1993. He became board-certified in family medicine in 1994. In addition to providing comprehensive primary care, he has a special interest in osteopathic manipulative therapy, particularly for patients managing chronic musculoskeletal disorders.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Manter enjoys golfing, stargazing, hiking, biking, and gardening alongside his wife.
