Bry Kring, CNM,MSN,FNP-C

About

Certified Nurse-Midwife Bry Kring with The Birth Center of Boulder received a master’s degree in nurse-midwifery and a post-master’s as a family nurse practitioner from Vanderbilt University.

Bry is native to Boulder, CO. She has trained as a midwife in the United States and in Latin America. Her first introduction to the birthing world came in 2011 as an intern at a birth center on the border of Juarez, Mexico. Bry followed this with a live-in internship at a rural birth center in the highlands of Guatemala, run by traditional Mayan midwives.

Bry brings patient-centered, evidence-based care to pregnant people, babies and members of the whole family. She honors the intricate and layered processes of healing, birth and post-partum. Along with allopathic training as a CNM/FNP, Bry also has a background in functional, integrative healthcare, and more hands-on/movement healing, having been a yoga teacher for just under a decade. With her diverse training, Bry works creatively to find what best meets the needs and desires of each client, in a safe, individualized, and holistic way, in all aspects of their care and birth experiences: physically, emotionally and beyond. In addition to providing midwifery care during labor and birth, she is passionate about holistic menopause support and offers primary care as an FNP.

Bry speaks both English and Spanish. She is committed to increasing access to midwifery care for all people and building a stronger community around empowered and individualized birth and health care. She sees this as a sustainable investment in individual, community and public health.

In her free time, Bry is a watercolorist, writer and loves being in nature, teaching yoga, riding her motorcycle and getting her hands dirty in the garden.
