Angela Stevens, CNM,MSN
About
Angela Stevens is the clinical director and a co-founder of The Birth Center of Boulder. She completed her Master of Science in Nursing and midwifery training in 2006 from The University of New Mexico.
Angela has been working in women’s health care since 2000, which included serving as a midwife at Boulder Community Health from 2008 to 2013. She has accompanied thousands of families through their pregnancies, and welcomed close to 1,000 babies into the world.
Angela has also been the midwifery consultant with the non-profit One Heart Worldwide since 2016, traveling to Nepal multiple times for field work, program development and teaching.
She’s constantly dreaming up how to redesign, enhance and provide quality sexual reproductive health care to women around the world, and ways to integrate the midwifery and birth center model of care into the global system.
She has studied Ayurveda, herbal medicine and essential oils. Her other passions include planning simple and grand adventures, being at the beach and the art of design.
