Interested in learning to make your own herbal products? Would you like to cultivate a deeper relationship with the herbs and plants around you and how you interact with them on a seasonal cycle? Would you like to understand why certain preparations are best for certain plants? Would you like to save money by harvesting your own herbs and/or making your own medicine chest? If so, join me, Anna Fernandez, herbalist and CNM in this 5 hour medicine making class that will get you started in the practicalities of herbal medicine making
In these packed 5 hours, we will learn to make infusions, decoctions, salves, syrups, and tinctures. We will also talk about planting, wildcrafting, harvesting and storage of herbs. Bring a lunch and I will supplement your meal with some herbal snacks. You will leave with a couple of products and an introduction to a lifetime of learning and adventure with our herb and plant friends.
