This live virtual class is meant to get breastfeeding off to a good start. 

Class topics include breastfeeding basics, the lactation process, why skin-to-skin contact is so important, helpful routines in the hospital and at home, and common concerns. Pumping will be briefly discussed. 

You will learn: optimal positioning and latch, reading your babies signals to eat, how to know your baby is getting enough, nutrition. Expectations and emotional components of breastfeeding are covered as well and partners are encouraged to attend to find out ways they can support the breastfeeding mother and connect with baby. 

This is an virtual class and the link to join will be emailed to you by the instructor the day of the class.

Cancellations: If you cancel your registration prior to 5 business days before class begins, your registration fee will be refunded or transferred to another class. No refunds or transfers will be given after this time.
