Details:

As your baby grows inside you, come and learn safe ways to stretch and exercise to help your changing body adapt to pregnancy.

In this four-week class series, you will be led through prenatal yoga poses and dance moves, practicing tools that are helpful during labor. Specifically, we will use movement and breath to increase flexibility, balance, strength, and relaxation. We hope this class inspires you and offers support for the physical and emotional aspects of pregnancy and birth.

These classes are suitable for women at any stage of pregnancy. No prior yoga experience is required. Taught by two alternating instructors who are Certified Prenatal Yoga Instructors and Registered Nurses. Please bring a mat if you have one.

Teachers: Sutay Berman, RN; Margie McSweeney, RN.

Fee for the 4-class series: $40. (You are welcome to drop in for individual classes, for a $12 fee.)

Cancellations: You will receive a full refund minus a $10 processing fee if you cancel seven days before the class. If you cancel less than seven days in advance, you will receive a 50% refund. To request a refund, email parentresources@bch.org.
